This character inspired by a novel by Anton Cecov seems to belong to a "different" world. Only his eyes speak. We can guess not a daily sadness, that which inhabits people withdrawn (or confined) from the world, but a languor that takes away all energy, every desire. The engraver whose hand promotes movement is opposed to this inertia. The dry point highlights a range of deep silver and black grays. Limited edition.
