By chance, this copper was etched last year, before the pandemic and seems appropriate today. The vision is unusual: a young man looks at lush nature through a porthole. The separation (or exclusion) communicates a sense of sadness, the link between an external and internal world seems lost or compromised. The drypoint enhances the dark tones of the background while the vegetation is etched.
