The beautiful plain, a stone's throw from the Atelier, which resembles "a large hall with an oval ceiling like the rich" (Romains), invites us to contemplate. The horizon separates the earth and the sky; the road, perfect diagonal, crosses the space. To accentuate an ideal perspective that recalls the infinite, the trees are on different levels. The design traced with the tip offers volumes with soft and rounded shapes. It is the ordinary beauty of nature.
