n. 591 The mirror

In this engraving the masses are broken up into fragments creating a luminous vibration in space. No straight line, no well-defined contour, it is the eye that recomposes the new harmony of forms. An ordinary room, of a disconcerting banality, transforms and surprises us for its poetic dimension. It It also has an aura of mystery: in the mirror opposite, the shadow of a character lets us glimpse the absolute light.
