These five objects on a shelf belong to the domestic world, they are simple and of no particular value. Everything seems silent and static but the etching is free, without rigidity; the tones blend harmoniously and play with the light, offering the whole a poetic vision not without a certain intimate joy. Made thirty years ago, the engraving retains a surprising freshness.
