n. 214 Lying girl

On this copper with well-defined outlines is engraved the image of a woman lying down. Traits are essential and sinuous lines. Time seems suspended. The format is unusual and the imagination completes what the drawing does not reveal but it is precisely when the spaces to be engraved become limited that the creative challenge becomes more interesting.
