In a play of light and shadow, the shapes are revealed allowing you to glimpse the reflected image of a young woman in the mirror. Beautiful in her nakedness, she seems to us near and far. The half-closed windows create a contrast with the interior of the room which remains in dim light. In 2020 the copper was reworked with drypoint to make the blacks warmer and more velvety.
