These everyday objects form a seemingly ordinary whole. They were traced in etching and shot in drypoint both to attenuate tonal values and to create evident contrasts. The space that surrounds them has undergone an inverse path: scraped, it has become evanescent. Objects "come out of oblivion" and take on surprising poetic values.
