The theme of the portraits, recurring in the author, introduces us to an intimate atmosphere of quickly sketched interior scenes. The layered arrangement of the paintings does not aim to represent simple external forms, such as empty shells, but, through human faces and bodies, true fragments of memory. The engraving, which gives birth to them and continues to animate them, finds in them a living beauty capable of surprising us.
