From these solitary characters who emerge from their turn, we could hear them recite this Gnostic hymn of the second or third century: "I am the voice of the awakening in the eternal night". Enigmatic vision of an "other" world and out of time, this engraving asks us: who are they, what are these lost towers in this vast plain, where are we? Our thinking oscillates between the absurd and the mystery.
