Poised between good and evil, men fraternize or confront each other. In this small copper, the author represents, with a satirical or at least playful intention, the clash between two human factions. By exasperating some features of the faces, exaggerating the proportions of the whole, the scene takes off. The diagonals cut the space and communicate the idea of movement. The etching is retouched in drypoint to enhance the strength of the details. To be savored slowly.
