Looking at this engraving from 1997 - only few copies available - different elements against create a state of harmonious balance: the velvety tones of black contrast with the white sparks of the sky; the tower, this immobile architecture, is surrounded by moving metal filaments and the stars become luminous points in the deep night. But, at the end of the stone pier where the lines of flight converge, it is a small figure that becomes the central element of this engraving: it is the point of balance between the infinite and the real world. A state of grace for daring minds ...
