In these unpublished verses the poet reveals the emotions and sensations related to memory, in particular to his childhood and the nature that surrounds him. Xuereb, like Hölderlin, recalls the sense of loss, the strength of vital impetus and the poet's vocation which is to reclaim the feelings of men and strengthen the lost bonds. In a path that is not without difficulties, writing becomes more and more powerful, intimate and captures us with a language rich in images, scents and sounds. Full page etching allows to enhance the union between writing and engraving.
