These everyday objects arranged in bulk on a shelf represent a domestic world, asleep and dusty. We are not surprised but, with a drawing quickly executed in etching and drypoint, the layout loses its details but acquires a new strength. Without rigidity, objects come to life and the harmonious and poetic whole seduces us.
