n. 438 The dancer and her judges

This engraving, made in 2001 - some copies are still available - represents a theme dear to the author: characters on an imaginary stage. Everything is conceived on the contrasts of light (the tones vary from the absolute white of the infinite to the deep blacks of the lateral loggias) and symbols (the fragile elegance of the young dancer and the severity of her judges). The
perspective gives the scene a flight forward. Artwork to collect..
