n.780 Holà! Sentry

Small metaphorical image of the sedentary, of the confined, of those who go out and travel little (it is the fate of all of us these days ...). The author describes a sentry in an ironic way. This soldier on guard looks as hard and solid as the stone that surrounds him. The stillness is only apparent: when they fall apart, the stones hint at a movement and recall the old French proverb: "pierre qui roule ne fait pas mousse" (if you don't move, you will never get anything done!)
