The design seems reduced to the essential: a vertical wall, a staircase, a diagonal that crosses the space but what strikes us is the atmosphere made impalpable, suspended in a silence that permeates the steps of this monumental staircase. A rich vegetation, the stones consumed by time... the details are sumptuous. Baudelaire’s verses come to mind: «Là, tout n'est qu'ordre et beauté, Luxe, calme et volupté ». This series of steps that allow you to go up or down... no, our gaze goes up, towards the dawning day!
