The title recalls the opening words of the Prologue of the Benedictine Rule: "Listen to your master’s precepts...". Expressed with paternal tenderness, this proposal evokes teaching and community life. The teacher and the student are represented symbolically, like the door in the background. The etching track, enhanced by the use of Bible paper, brings out the shapes and volumes.
