In a serene landscape where everything is still, our eye is drawn to the sight of a distant house. It is this house, at the center of the composition, that draws our attention. As a product of our dream, it questions us and creates an optical illusion due to the contrast between the light and the darkness that surrounds it. The whiteness of the house, enlivened by the night, ignites the desire to reach it. Like the moth, we dream of taking possession of it, but, inaccessible, the house of desire remains a mystery.
