The edition, one of the first created by the Alma Charta Atelier, features some verses from Ecclesiastes, enriched by a full-page engraving. The text refers to troubled times but also to a human condition laid bare and in search of a (vain) happiness on earth. The engraving enters into this spirit: a luminous road, two banks bristling with obstacles and disordered elements and a leaden sky. All of this recalls universal values and although they seem so contradictory, so irreconcilable, they still surprise us. Some examples of this edition are still available.
