In this copper engraved in 2007, the two mountains seem real islands- refuge for men jealous of their rights and their properties. The greeting between two characters must be perceived not only as an outward sign of courtesy, but also as a gesture of goodwill, an opportunity to recognize themselves. Though solitary by will or necessity, both belong to the same community of men and their island to the same continent. No one is an island (E. Hemingway).
